Rollin' on the River (Ocean)
Hello everybody! I wanted to share with you one of the most amazing experiences of my life (in photographs, of course).
Last year, thanks to my boyfriend's awesome family, I had the chance to go on a Caribbean cruise! This 10 day adventure was one of my favorite vacations I've ever been on, and of course I took a heck ton of pictures to remember it!
We left on Christmas morning, and started our fun holiday festivities in Naples, Florida!
Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park beach & deep sea fishing
After 3 days in Naples, we headed over to Miami for take off. This was the first cruise I had ever been on. I cannot even begin to explain the excitement I had! Our ship was called the Norwegian Epic, and boy did it live up to that name!
The time spent on the ship was phenomenal, and the food was superb. But my favorite part? The excursions! We went to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Mexico!
In Jamaica, we climbed up Dunn's River Falls, went river tubing on the White River, and learned that "there are no problems, only situations!" Irie, mon.
Next stop, grand Cayman! We visited the famous Stingray City, where you feed and swim with huge wild stingrays (you can also give them kisses). In addition, we went scuba diving! I had no idea what to expect when Scuba diving, and that was probably my favorite thing about the entire vacation. The water in Grand Cayman is crystal clear and the tour dropped us off over top of a reef!
Mexico was a whole different experience then the other excursions. We stopped at the island of Cozumel, and had a lovely lunch at Pancho's Backyard. We did some shopping (bought real ponchos!), and then hit up a party at Senior Frog's! There were parrots in the mall, monkey's on leashes, and jewelry stores on every corner. It was certainly interesting, and a most unforgettable excursion.
I am so lucky to have had this experience and I hope you enjoyed reading about it. If you're thinking about going on a cruise, definitely go for it. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever done (not to mention the crazy new year's eve party!) Remember, there are no problems, only situations!
